at goose we believe in the power of shared moments, creativity and sustainability! we have created an at home downloadable kit to help you transform your self help jacket into your new favorite halloween costume!
below are the instructions for each of our designs and if a visual guide is more helpful to you feel free to check out our instagram (@goose.kids) how to videos!
for the dino costume:
what you need: sturdy paper, cardboard, glue, tape, scissors & your jacket!
directions
1. print out this guide on sturdy paper
2. cut out all of the shapes
3. take outline 1 and trace 5-8 times on cardboard or sturdy cardstock, depending on how many spines you want
4. cut out cardboard shapes
5. fold cardboard twice along each bottom edge of triangle
6. glue tips of triangles together
7. glue colored paper spines to outside of cardboard triangles
8. tape spines along jacket (we recommend following the center seam on the hood!)
9. punch a hole at the small circle on the baby dinos back
10. hang baby dino from storage loop with thread!


for the goose costume:
what you need: sturdy paper, scissors, tape & your jacket!
directions
1. print out this guide on sturdy paper
2. cut out all of the shapes
3. tape beak to front of hood
4. tape eyes to side of hood
5. punch a hole at the top of the baby goose
6. hang baby goose from storage loop with thread!
extra credit: tape fun feathers to sleeves for a goose texture!


for the pig costume:
what you need: sturdy paper, cardboard, tape, glue, scissors, elastic & your jacket!
directions
1. print out this guide on sturdy paper
2. cut out all of the shapes
3. take outline 1 and trace twice on cardboard or sturdy cardstock
4. cut out cardboard shapes
5. fold cardboard along each bottom edge of half-circle
6. glue top of half-circle together
7. glue colored paper ears to outside of cardboard half-circles
8. tape ears to top of hood
9. take pig nose circle and fold small squares downward. attach tape to each square and wrap rectangle shape around the base to form a snout.
10. cut holes in the sides and thread elastic through. tie elastic around the back of the head at desired length!
11. punch a hole at the small circle on the baby pig
12. hang baby pig from storage loop with thread
extra credit: bend a pink pipe cleaner into a tail shape and attach to base of jacket!
